Time Series

Time series analysis involves methods for analyzing time series data to extract meaningful statistics and identify characteristics of the data. The primary goals of time series analysis are to understand the underlying structure and function that produced the observed data and to forecast future values based on this understanding.

Note

Time series analysis in TSE Analytics can only be performed using data of a single animal. The respective animal of interest can be chosen from the Animal dropdown menu in control panel of the Timeseries widget. Animal selection in the Animal widget is not considered for time series analysis.
